41.7B shortstop explodes to 1.261 OPS in June → Ransomed properly

Infielder Corey Seager, 29, who has been totaled at a whopping $325 million, is leading the Texas Rangers' charge to the top of the American League West.

Texas leads the division with a 44-27 record and a .620 winning percentage through 19 games. Within the American League, they are tied for second place with the Baltimore Orioles.

They've passed last year's World Series champion Houston Astros and remain 4.5 games behind the second-place Los Angeles Angels in the division.

While Texas is led on the mound by Nathan Eovaldi, they have Seager at the plate. Through 40 games, Seager is hitting .363 with a .420 on-base percentage and a 1.076 OPS on the season.

After being sidelined in mid-April due to injury, he returned in mid-May and has yet to see any regular at-bats, but has put up an excellent slash line.

In a home game against the Toronto Blue Jays on May 19, Seager went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs. Texas came from behind to win 11-7.

His performance this month was nothing short of remarkable. In 16 games this month, Seager is batting .424 with a .472 on-base percentage and a 1.261 OPS to lead the Texas offense.

Last year, in his first year with Texas, Seager only managed a .772 OPS in 151 games, but this season he has really come into his own.

If Seager continues to perform 메이저사이트 like this without injury, his $325 million total value and $35.5 million annualized salary will be well worth it.
